R5-U8 was an Astromech droid in service during the clone wars. He is featured in the battle against the Malevolence and partnered with Y-Wing Pilot Shadow 6, aka. Flyby. He was not destroyed but didn't exactly win, his Y-Wing was deactivated by the Malevolence's Ion Cannon. One thing R5-U8 was known for was being cautious, he was a very cautious droid and probably difficult to work with at times. R5-U8 was also present during the briefing before the attack on Greivous's flag ship.
